SylviaLANCASTER OBEsadly passed away on Tuesday, April 12 at the Royal Blackburn Hospital, aged 69. A devoted fighter for all she believed in and the CEO of the Sophie Lancaster Foundation. Sylvia enjoyed live music and going to garden centres and cafes with her grandchildren. Her funeral service will take place on Thursday, May 12 at 1pm at The Ashcroft (Whitworth Civic Hall), Market Street, Whitworth, followed by burial at Whitworth Cemetery. Family flowers only, with donations if desired, in memory of Sylvia for The Sophie Lancaster Foundation. Funeral director: Caroline Holden for Dewhurst Johnson, Durning and Woods, Haslingden.
