Doris EvelynLANE(Nee Clayton) It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Doris who slipped away peacefully at home and surrounded by her family, on Wed 29th November 2023. Doris was 92 years old.
The much cherished wife of John (deceased) and wonderful mother to Allan, Garry, Tom, John and daughter Ann, and a treasured mother in law to Doreen, Julie, Dawn and Sue. Adored by her many grandchildren, her great grandchildren, and great great grandson. Doris was a respected auntie, a good neighbour, and friend to many. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
A service to celebrate the life of Doris will be held at Grimsby Crematorium Weelsby Ave, Grimsby on Thurs 28th Dec 2023 at 1.30pm, and family and friends are welcome to attend. Please wear what you would feel most comfortable in, and bright or casual clothing is welcomed, to celebrate Doris’s life.

Alternatively, donations in lieu can be left after the service for The Blue Cross and The Salvation Army which were two of Doris’s favourite charities.
