Dad to some of the best friends I’ve ever had.
Husband to a wonderful wise woman.
Boss of my first paid job.
SpaceWagon taxi driver of my youth.
Few words but always a wry smile and a quiet chuckle if you lucked into accidentally being funny.
First time I recall hearing Country music and Lord help me I loved it.
Miss a world with you in it Mr L.

I’ve known Pete since I was a kid and I’ve got fond memories of going over to Fields Farm growing up.

Pete was a man of few words. He worked hard and just got on with life.

One memory that’s always stuck with me is him mowing us a cricket pitch in the paddock. Me and Ben spent hours out there, using a milk crate for wickets!! To us it was brilliant.

That was Pete. He didn’t say a lot but he showed his kindness in what he did.

I feel really lucky to have known him growing up. He was a good man and he’ll be greatly missed by the Lathams and by his wider family and friends.
