Allen was an avid and very active member of the Hertfordshire Wheelers cycling club and rode every weekend and often club runs during the week in the 1960's so many of you will know him from his cycling days.
Allen spent his working life as an engineer and toolmaker and worked at various companies, namely Hertford Tools, Chadwell Tools, Layston Tools and Loganhurst until he formed his own successful company, Allen J Law Toolmakers and Engineers in Litlington, Nr Royston Following losing everything in a devastating fire in 1992, Allen returned to Loganhurst and then formed an engineering partnership with Mark Hawkins, becoming North Herts Engineering and the pair sponsored Mark's Drag Racing funny car.
Allen then moved on to become a design engineer developing print heads for a company called Xaar on the Science Park in Cambridge.
Allen has given me so many very happy memories over our 42 years together which will remain in my heart and soul, espcially our motorcycling years which were very special to us, having extensively toured UK, Europe and USA.

Love you forever and ever big man and will be in my dreams for eternity.
