AnthonyLAWREYMr Anthony Charles Lawrey, of Daisy Hill, Rawtenstall (Tony), passed away on Wednesday, May 26, in Royal Blackburn Hospital, aged 61. He was a former footwear operative at Lambert Howarth, Whitewell Bottom and security guard at Interflo Haslingden. He was a keen music and sport enthusiast for many years, particularly of Burnley FC and Rawtenstall CC. He leaves brother Chris, sister-in-law Elizabeth, nephew Nick, niece Rachel and family, and cousins around the valley. A service at St James the Less Roman Catholic Church, Rawtenstall will be held on Wednesday, June 9 at 11am, followed by interment at Rawtenstall Cemetery. Donations to Alzheimer’s Society.
