John WilliamLAWRIELate of Gateshead, Ouston and Gosforth. Peacefully at home on 19th August aged 84 years.

Beloved husband of the late Marie, much loved dad of Marie and Janine, a dear father-in-law of Stephan and Luigi. "Jackie" will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Family and friends please meet at Mountsett Crematorium on Wednesday 9th September 2026 at 1.15pm. No flowers please, donations in lieu if desired to St Oswald's Hospice or Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis.

Jackie was a lovely bloke, took me fishing and a couple of nufc friendlies, picked me up from school on big black Vincent Velocette. Best Chrysanthemum grower around. Waved like the queen when passing in car, hahaha 🤣. Marie be waiting with open arms. Xx
