The funeral is now over
Where I said my last goodbye.
Your passing was so sudden,
I still don’t understand why.
Such a difficult day to get through,
Even the heavens were bereft.
As the clouds shed their tears of rain
On those loved ones you have left.
Your life was still unfinished.
That’s something we shall mourn.
You were always present in my life
From the moment I was born.
The eldest of my sisters
For nearly three score years and ten.
I’ll remember you from the present day
And as you were back then.

I will miss Veronica’s lovely smile and pleasant company

Sadly missed, Veronica’s visits to South Wales will be remembered with such fondness.

Dear Veronica, we've been friends with you and Richard for many years and have had many good times together. We never stopped talking and loved putting the world to rights. You were always cheerful, kind and helpful and just a lovely person. We'll really miss you,
