Passed away peacefully on the 25th of June 2025 aged 72 years.

Devoted Husband to Ann. Treasured Dad to Ann-Marie and Sally-Ann. Much loved Father In Law to Jonny and Rebecca and an adored Grandad to Joshua, Holly, Amelia, Evie and Isaac.

John will be greatly missed by all family and friends.

Please meet for funeral service at Cowpen Crematorium, Blyth, NE245SZ on Wednesday 16th July at 11:30.

Family flowers only, donations gratefully received in aid of Wansbeck Palliative Care.

All welcome back to the Commissioners Quay following the service.

Just heard the sad news of the passing of my great old mate and my best man John, Although I haven’t seen John for some years I still have all the memories of all the magic times and adventures together with John and Ann in our younger days. Deepest condolences to Ann and family from Alan and Mags.
