John WilliamLEGGEPeacefully passed away at RSUH on Monday 5th January 2026, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family. John, aged 94 years, of Bentilee. A devoted and deeply loved husband to Muriel, a proud and caring dad to Gillian and Gail, and a respected father-in-law to Neil, Patrick and Stan. A much-adored grandad to Stephanie and James and their partners, a cherished great-grandad, loving brother, uncle and a dear friend to many. John's warmth, kindness and gentle nature touched the lives of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his loving family and many friends. Funeral service to take place at Carmountside Crematorium on Tuesday 27th January 2026 at 10.30am. Relatives and friends wishing to attend are kindly asked to meet at the Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, in memory of John to The Douglas MacMillan Hospice.
