Barry EdwardLEIGHTON-POTTERPassed away peacefully on the 19th February 2022 aged 72 years. By his side was his beloved Brenda. Dearly beloved husband to Brenda. Father to Sarah and Nicola, Step Father to Gaynor and Heath, Father-in-law, Brother, Uncle, Grandad, Great-Grandad and friend to many. Funeral service to take place at Altrincham Crematorium on Wednesday 16th March at 12.45pm, following this the family have asked the attendees to join them to celebrate Barry's wonderful life at The Bowdon Rooms, The Firs, Bowdon WA14 2TQ. Donations, if desired, to benefit Cancer Research UK or The Christie can be given at the service or sent directly to the charity in memory of Barry. I worked for you and Brenda for a few years when I was just 18. Your laugh was infectious and your smile was made brighter when Brenda walked in the room. You took me to hospital appointments in your beloved Porsche when I started with mental health issues. You were more than my boss you and Brenda showed me love and taught me it was ok not to be okay long before that was even a saying. You were a pure legend. Loving hard working and kind. You worked hard you played hard and I hope your flying high in the sky. Goodnight lovely man. I’m sending all our love to Brenda and your family.
