The obituary notice of Brendan LESLIE

Extremely sad to hear this news. It was always a pleasure to bump into Brendan - to hear about his ideas and projects. His love of music will stay with me and his willingness to share clips of things he'd seen, heard and loved. He also sent me some of his creative writing to read - like him, it was sharp, witty and with some glorious turns of phrase!

So sad to hear or Brendan’s passing. He was one of the first people I met in Coventry and he was always kind and upbeat, helpful and positive. He came up with the idea of doing a flashmob during the City of Culture and saw it through to completion (who will forget the dancing policemen!) I remember how proud he was of his bungalow and his friends - plus he made a mean bolognaise! He was one of the good guys and I wish I’d seen him more over the last couple of years. X

He was my best friend at Lawrence Sheriff for 7 years. He was clever, witty and a brilliant long and triple jumper. We loved the Eurovision Song Contest and spent hours in his front room listening to tapes.
His humour and intelligence meant he could shield himself from the bullies. He was a kind good person x

Rest in Peace Brendan I'm really heartbroken to hear of your passing.
You were one of the brightest, genuine, good hearted men I have had the pleasure of knowing.
You are in my prayers love always
