Kay SusanLEWISSurrounded by her family, Kay sadly passed away peacefully on Friday 13th June 2025 in Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham aged 74 years.

Greatly loved and missed wife of Tom, her devoted husband and best friend of 54 years. Soulmates in every sense, bound together beyond this world. In every lifetime, she will find him and he will find her.

Loving Mum of Sarah and Ginny, much loved Nan of Megan and Tom jnr, Great Grandmother of Molly and Milly, much loved by Neil and Charlie who she held close as part of the family. Loving twin sister to Maureen, sister-in-law to Lou, Auntie to Katie and Great Auntie to Kiera, Marleigh and Tate.

She showed us all what it means to live and love.

Her loving nature and infectious smile will be missed by all who knew her. Kay was the heart in every room and the calm in every storm with endless kindness, quiet strength and a deep well of compassion.

To know Kay was to be gently wrapped in kindness and love. She gave everything to others without expecting anything in return. She lived a life of love, meaning and grace. A true example of how to live with love and leave the world a much better place.

Kay had a sparkle that could lift a room, a warmth that made everyone feel at home and a spirit that will shine on in all that were blessed to know her.

Kay dedicated her life to caring for others. Having only retired last year after 47 years as teaching assistant at Sowe Valley Primary School, helping generations of children to grow, thrive and believe in themselves. She touched the hearts and minds of many children, parents and grandparents. She worked alongside colleagues who became dear friends.

Kay's legendary hugs will be deeply missed by her family and also her 'school and Church families'.

If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.

Goodnight and God Bless my Kay. Until we meet again - You'll be forever in our hearts, minds and dreams.

Reception into Corpus Christi RC Church, Langbank Avenue, on Thursday 24th July at 5pm. Requiem Mass on Friday 25th at 12noon, followed by committal at Charter Chapel, Canley Crematorium. Flowers to A Pargetter & Son Ltd, Funeral Directors, City Mews, Lamb Street, Coventry CV1 4AE (Tel: 02476 223343)
