NigelLEYLANDMr Nigel Charles Leyland, of Cowpe View Apartments, Waterfoot, died peacefully in the Royal Blackburn Hospital on Tuesday, December 14, aged 59. Nigel lived in Rossendale all his life. He attended Fearns High School, then began work at Howarth Packaging and then Flexipol Packaging, Haslingden. A very friendly person, he was a keen footballer and walker. He also took an interest in the local scramble events. He also loved to socialise in the valley at The Royal Hotel and The Buck Inn. Son of the late Sheila, Nigel leaves his father Ronald and brother Paul. His funeral will take place on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, when Mr Damien Philips will conduct a Celebration of Life Service and Committal at Burnley Crematorium at 2.30pm.
