DeniseLIGHTPeacefully on Sunday 10th May 2026 at Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital, Grimsby, aged 77.
Dearly beloved wife to Chris, much-loved mother to Jennifer, Roger and Stewart, and devoted Grannie to Adam, Rowan, Henry, Charlie, George and Robin.

A service to celebrate Denise's life will be held at The Pelham Suite, Grimsby on Friday 5th June at 12.30pm,
followed by a wake at the same venue.
Close family will retire for a private burial immediately after the service, returning to rejoin guests thereafter.
Guests are invited to wear blue coloured items to celebrate Denise's favourite hair colour.

Family flowers only please. If desired, a donation in lieu may be made to World Vision (www.worldvision.org.uk/donate/)

Denise you were Christines' friend from silverclass(mums) Mum had many fond memories of you.You became mine when we attended writing together.I will never forget your determination,commitment and courage.I will also remember that glint in your eye and cheeky grin as you read out a new murder mystery you had written!You so loved to write, and we loved to listen.You will be missed.Sending love to your family.Juliexxx

Dee, light was how we revered to you because you were a delight to be around. Full of love, wisdom and positivity. Our lives are richer for knowing you. I will miss your cheeky little one liners you never failed to make me smile I will miss you and the stories you told in person and on paper.
