My name is Gary Fletcher I went to school with Chris and we were mates outside of school. We were still friends when we left school. He took me everywhere on his bike with Steve and Peter and Chris . The first time I met you was in Tynemouth and me and my wife went back to your flat in Tynemouth. The next time I met you was in the special care baby unit at Rake Lane Hospital when you cared for my daughter Bethany. I was so sorry to here about Chris and my heart goes out to your family. I think about Chris a lot and it's a shame we lost touch over the years but would love to hear from Steve or any of the gang. Sadness and love from Clearwater Beach

Siobhan, I am so sorry to learn of your loss. We met on Clearwater Beach in 2000, and I have such fond memories of our few days together on that vacation. This photo has been on my table for years, and I think of you often. I realize now that we have not made contact since Niamh started school, and that has been too long. I wish I had reached out sooner.
Chris was a very special person, and I am grateful to have been able to know him. You were an amazing couple, and I am pleased that you have had a great life together.
