LynnLITTLEMrs Lynn Little, of Burnley Road, Weir, Bacup, died peacefully in the Royal Blackburn Hospital on Monday, April 4, aged 76. A service will be held at the Chapel of Rest on Thursday, April 21 at 11.30am, followed by cremation at Burnley at 12.15pm, conducted by Mr Peter Goulding. Born in Whitworth, Lynn came to live in Bacup 53 years ago. She had various jobs, including working as an upholstery machinist, nursing assistant and as a carer in the community. She thrived on helping others. Lynn enjoyed holidays abroad, watching soaps on TV, dining out, but mostly spending time and socialising with her loving family, friends and neighbours. She leaves daughters Mandy, Melanie and her husband Vincent, granddaughters Scarlett, Poppy and Sophia, sister Barbara, best friend Joan, nephews, nieces and many friends. Friends and family are invited to Bacup Cricket Club following the cremation to reminisce and celebrate Lynn’s life. Family flowers only; donations in lieu to Rossendale Hospice.
