I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful Mother-in-law and Nanna to my girls. Always there when needed with support and encouragement. She was one very wise lady and one which the family often referred to when in need of guidance. She will be truly missed, till we meet again Mam 🌷🌷💔

Nanna Joan, a much-loved Nanna and treasured member of our family.
Nanna was a truly wonderful lady whose kindness, compassion and caring nature touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She was the kind of person who always put others before herself and was often described as someone who would have made a wonderful nun — a testament to her gentle, selfless and caring spirit.
Nanna set an example to us all of what it means to be a genuinely good human being. She was loving, thoughtful and always there for the people she cared about. Her warmth, wisdom and presence will be deeply missed by all of us.
Although her loss leaves an enormous emptiness in our lives, we take comfort in knowing that Nana is now reunited with her beloved husband Bernard and my Dad Stephen along with others she loved who went before her.
Her memory will live on through her family, we will continue to celebrate her through the stories we will share, the lessons she taught us and, most importantly, the love she gave so freely.
Rest peacefully, Nanna.
You were loved more than the words we can write down, and you will be missed forever more. Love Caras, Paul, Charlotte and Abby xxxx
