I've known Jean for 55years,first meeting her when I was 15 years old. Then I married her eldest son Martin. She became Grandmother to my two daughters Maria and Colette and over the years we've all had many happy times together.Lovely memories to hold on to. She was not only my mother-in-law but my friend aswell. I shall miss her soo much. Rest in peace Jean. Love Always Geraldine xxx

What amazing memories I have of our time together over 72 years
From Singapore to Plymouth.
Also the times you looked after me when mum worked.
Remembering me,my children and Grandchildren every Christmas
And Birthday.

You were kind,considerate and certainly loved.

I miss the phone calls
that always lasted longer than planned.
I miss the gossip,
the knowing laughs,
the heart-to-hearts that stitched comfort into ordinary days.

I will miss the birthday cards,
the Christmas cards,
and Esmé’s cards too —
each one arriving by post,
proof that you were always thinking of us.

What a rare and beautiful gift it was
to have you in my life.
