Stanley JamesLIVELYPeacefully after a long illness, on the 14th February, whilst at home surrounded by his loving family, Stan aged 75 years of Grimsby sadly passed away.

Much loved son of Annie and James Lively, loving partner of Anne, dear step-dad of Sue, cherished grandad of Kacey, Keirren and George, amazing friend of Allison and best friend of JC. Stan will be dearly loved and missed by all who knew him.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Tuesday 17th March 2026 at 2:15pm.

Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, will be put to the benefit of Cancer Research.

Stan is resting at Alexanders Funeral Care, Alexander House, 70 Carr Lane, Grimsby, DN32 8JP. Tel; 01472 355255.

I knew Stanley when we were both kids living in Wellington Street... There was a bit of rivalry between those of us who lived at one end of the block and those who lived at his end. A fierce little boy who made my late brother, David Grimstead, and me laugh. Sad news. My condolences to his family and friends. 🌹
