GleniceLOCKMrs Glenice Lock, of Cherry Tree Lodge Nursing Home, died on Tuesday, November 30, aged 93. Glenice was a machinist in a Slipper Works. In her younger days she enjoyed knitting, socialising, holidays and dancing. Wife of the late Jim, she leaves son Gordon, daughter Carole, and son-in-law Dave, grandchildren Marc and wife Helen, Daniel and wife Philippa, Ryan and partner Sarah, and Jodie and husband Chris, great-grandchildren Isaac, Sam, Josh, Ethan, Holly, and Florence, and nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held on Thursday, December 9, with a small service at Woodtop Chapel, Bury Road, at 10am, followed by cremation at Burnley at 10.45am, led by Rev Stephen Crook. Family flowers and donations to Cherry Tree Lodge Nursing Home. Donations can be made online at www.fredhamer. co.uk (tributes and donations).
