Cllr Derek JamesLONGCAKEJanet and all Derek's family wish to send heartfelt thanks to everyone who sent condolences or paid their respects at the roadside as Derek's cortege passed along Chancel Rd, Messingham Rd and Moorwell Rd, this includes his family, friends and colleagues from Nth Lincs Council, Bottesford Town Council, Messingham Bowls Club, Shortmat Bowls Club and the Playing Fields Association, also his friends from the Painting & Decorating Association. We have had hundreds of cards, flowers and telephone calls each one helping us to cope with our tragic loss, thank you to Ashby Funeral Care for looking after Derek at these strange times and to Helen Gravestock for her loving service
