MarieLORDMrs Marie Lord, of Hoghton Avenue, Bacup, died in the Royal Blackburn Hospital after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, July 4, aged 61. Requiem Mass will be held at St Mary’s & St Anselm’s RC Church, Bacup on Wednesday, July 14 at 11am, followed by interment in Bacup cemetery at 12.15pm, conducted by Father Chris McGrane. Born in Bacup, where she lived all her life, Marie was employed as an assistant practitioner at Dr Mackenzie and Partners practice in Haslingden. She enjoyed walking and holidays, but was happiest surrounded by her loving family. She leaves her husband of 37 years Ian, daughter Charlotte and her partner Sean, daughter Ashleigh and her partner Daniel, granddaughters Caoimhe and Annabelle, sisters Teresa and Kathleen, brothers John and Matt, nephews, nieces and many friends.
