JillLORDPassed away peacefully on Monday 23rd October 2023 at 77 years old.
Jill is survived, loved and cherished by her two children Richard and Caroline, and by her immediate and extended family in England and Australia. She spent many of her days enjoying music, reading, book club, gardening, choir and entertaining family.
Jill dedicated her life to educating others as a Head Teacher, advocating for women's rights and was a lover of poetry, history and English literature. We dedicate Lord Byron to mum: "She walks in beauty, like the night Of cloudless climes and starry skies; And all that's best of dark and bright Meet in her aspect and her eyes; Thus mellowed to that tender light Which heaven to gaudy day denies."
It's not goodbye mum. We will see you on the other side. Pick a good picnic spot for us.
