Barbara MayMACHINOn Wednesday, 22nd July 2026 peacefully in Macclesfield District General Hospital, Barbara aged 78 years. The dearly loved Partner of Clive, beloved and much loved Mother of Paul, Julie, Debbie and the late David, cherished Grandmother and a treasured Great Grandmother. Barbara will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all her loving Family and Friends. The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Thursday, 13th August 2026 at 1.15 p.m. Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the British Heart Foundation.

I’m going to really miss you cousin ‘Auntie’ Barbara. For purely selfish reasons: I will miss our chats setting the world to right and noting your splendid BS detector! Thanks for all the non-PC belly laughs when I was feeling a bit low and the hilarious reminiscing over a glass or two of Malibu. Your passing has left a real gap and writing this nearly two weeks after hearing the sad news I still feel so gutted. Looking forward to celebrating your life this coming Thursday with Clive & the rest of your lovely family xx

Thinking of Barbara’s family and friends during this sad and difficult time. She was a beautiful lady, and a pleasure to have known. It’s a sad but comforting thought to know she has many loved ones waiting for her in heaven, reunited once more. She will be greatly missed. Love Debbie x
