NicholasMAIN(Ashington). Died peacefully on 4th August 2014, aged 76 years Nicholas (Nick), father of Alistair, was the son of Nicholas and Ruth Main, also of Ashington and brother of Brian, who preceded him in death. Nick was a life long supporter of Newcastle United and had a profound love of modern jazz, especially Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie. Nick's funeral will be held at Cowpen Crematorium on Friday 15th August at 2.00pm. No flowers by request but donations to Cancer Research U.K. (http://www.cancerresearchuk.org/) would be appreciated.
