RobertMALKINPeacefully at rest on Saturday 17th January 2026, at home surrounded by his loving and devoted family. Robert aged 81 years of Silverdale, the dearly loved and loving husband of Elaine, a much loved and treasured dad of Rachel, Robert and Helen, a dear father-in-law to Mick, Jo and Kev and a dearly loved and cherished gaga/grandad to Bethan, Sarah, Matthew, Freddie, Frankie, Jaden and Harvel. Also a much loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Rob will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his loving family and friends.

Funeral Service to take place at Silverdale Methodist Church, Earl Street, Silverdale ST5 6NF Wednesday 11th February 2026 at 1:40pm prior to cremation at Bradwell Crematorium. Would friends wishing to attend kindly meet at the church. Messages of condolence may be left on the funeral directors website. www.kevinlowndsfuneralservices.com

Family flowers only please, donations would be preferred in memory of Robert to the Salvation Army and Newcastle Male Voice Choir. A donation box will be available at the church and crematorium should anyone wish to make a donation on the day. All enquiries to :

To the best Dad in the universe ❤️. We are so lucky to have you … you really are the best. You will always be my rock and my home and I love you so much. I miss you more than words could say and would give anything for some more time with you here. Please stay with us and look after us all from wherever you are. I hope more than anything that you are well and free of pain… you deserve that and so much more. We will take good care of mum and of each other. I know that you will always be with us.. Bob was a great guy. He had so many friends at ICL/FUJITSU where he worked for over 42 years. We loved his wit and dry humour and it was a pleasure to have worked and know him for over 30 years. He will be sadly missed.

No words can express how sorry I am to read this notice.
I have many happy memories of Robert singing at The United Reformed Church in Silverdale with many of my family members.
Robert was a true gentleman.
