Maggie was the Peace Corps nurse when I was there in 1988-93. She had a plaque in her office reading "Your poor planning is not my emergency." Startling, but true! She was strict, but she was always, always right, and we adored her.

Maggie was practical, no nonsense, warm and funny. Sorry that she's gone.

Condolences to the family and loved ones. Nurse Maggie took really good care of our Peace Corps group in Kenya from '85-'87 and she was always there for us when we were sick or hurting. Kim and Jay

My thoughts and prayers are with her family. I cannot even imagine a world without Maggie. I was one of the nurses who worked with Maggie for a few very enjoyable years as a peace corps nurse and remember her dedication to the volunteers as well as her wonderful sense of humor. So sorry....
