JohnMARGRAVEOn Tuesday 23rd, April 2013 , John peacefully passed away with Steph (Bunter) and Shani by his side after a short illness bravely fought with great dignity. Precious and much loved husband of Stephanie, beloved son of the late Margaret, wonderful brother-in-law of Shani and Mike and much treasured uncle of Amie, Joe and their partners David and Nikki, and great uncle of Caden. Cousin of John and Irene, Susan and Martin, brother-in-law of Loraine and John and uncle of Russ and John. Missed and loved by his many friends. Sadly, the odds were against John this time. Celebration of John's life to be held at Woodlands Crematorium on Wednesday 1st May 2013 at 10.40am and all are welcome afterwards at Elsham Golf Club. John is resting at Naylors, Bigby Street, Brigg where floral tributes can be sent. Donations, if preferred can be sent in aid of the Injured Jockeys Fund c/o Naylors Funeral Director's, Comforts Avenue, Scunthorpe or left on the day of the funeral.

On my way back from Newcastle Races i heard the song by the Hollies " He aint heavy he's my brother. Every time I hear this song it reminds me of all the good times I spent in your company. You are a true gentleman and every time I go racing I think about the happy times we had at the races. Thanks for the memories & God Bless.
