LilyMARSTONIt is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lily Marston, who passed away peacefully on Monday, August 11, aged 95.
Lily was a loving wife to the late Albert Marston, mum to the late Keith, and leaves behind her daughter Carole, grandchildren Michelle, Steven, and Dean, their partners, and five great-granddaughters.
Lily worked most of her life at Bacup Shoe Company. She enjoyed walking, baking, holidays, spending time at Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary, and enjoying time with her family.
The funeral will take place on Friday, August 22, starting at 11am at Knight and Boys and 11.45am at Stacksteads/ Bacup Cemetery, followed by a celebration of Lily’s life at the Rose N Bowl.
Flowers welcome, or donations to Dementia UK or Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary.
