JackMARTINAt rest on the 31st of January 2026 at the RSUH, Jack aged 90 of Weston Coyney, and formerly the Lord John Russell public house. The beloved son of the late Ethel and Albert Martin, a devoted brother, and a cherished uncle, grand uncle, and great-grand uncle, to many.

In accordance with Jack's wishes, a private cremation will take place and therefore, no funeral will be held for Jack.

Jack's close relatives would like to invite all family and friends of Jack, to come and raise a glass for him and to share treasured memories, at his celebration of life, which will take place on Saturday the 2nd of May 2026, at the Florence sports and social club, Lightwood Road, from 1pm onward.

No flowers please. Instead, Jack's family ask that for anyone whom would like to make a donation in memory of Jack, to do so to the RSUH, whose staff cared for Jack with dignity and compassion, during his final weeks.

Jack loved greatly and was loved deeply. Jack and the beautiful memories that he has left with his loved ones, will remain in our hearts, always.

My uncle was one of a kind — funny, generous to all, obstreperous sometimes, as he liked to tell his sister before she passed on, but always full of life. He was a friend as much as he was family, and he believed he had lived the best of lives. We were so lucky to share in it with him. He will be missed more than words can say.

Our dearest Uncle Jack,

We don’t think we could ever repay you for everything you’ve done for us over the years. You were always there — kind, and full of love.
We’ve never known a life without you in it. From our earliest memories, you were just there. The thought that you won’t be here now is something we’re still trying to get our heads around.
Our hearts are broken, but we’re so grateful for memories - they mean more now than ever. We’ll carry them with us, and in that way, we’ll carry you too.
We miss you so much, Uncle Jack. Thank you for loving us the way you did. You will always be part of us. ❤️ love you always Jo, Steve & Kenzi XXXX
