Lilian VioletMARTYNMARTYN On August 31st 2006 Lilian Violet passed away peacefully at Torbay Hospital aged 94 years. Beloved wife of the late Frederick George Martyn, former editor of the Torquay Times. She will be greatly missed by her daughters Chris and Libby, son-in-law Bill and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family express their gratitude to all the staff on George Earle Ward for their professionalism, care and compassion shown to us all. Funeral service at St.John's Church, Shiphay, on Friday September 8th at 12.30pm followed by private interment. Family flowers only please, donations please in her memory to the R.N.L.I. by way of collection at the funeral service or to Co-op Funeral Services, 79-85 Barton Road, Torquay.
