Lady June DaphneMARYCHURCHBeloved wife of the late Sir Peter Marychurch KCMG, passed away peacefully on 1 June 2022 in Painswick, and will be missed by her family and many friends. A short Cremation Service will be held at Cheltenham Crematorium on 29th June at 11am. Donations, if desired, to Help Musicians UK and Macmillan Cancer Support, can be made c/o A Slade and Son, Ridgeway House, 35 Dyer Street, Cirencester GL7 2PP.

June taught me O level English which I enjoyed enormously. I was always amused by her impeccable, neat appearance, which in a progressive school with scruffy kids stood out splendidly. I visited her once or twice when she was with Peter in Gloucestershire, but I let slip my close involvement with CND and leftist politics and I wasn't invited again! Tattwa (formerly Sarah Haile)
