Lilian MayMASON"Jill" It is with great sadness that Jill's family announce that she passed away, peacefully with her family at her side on Sunday 27th May 2018 at St. Giles Hospice, Whittington.

Jill was the beloved wife of the late Denis, dearly loved mum and mum-in-law to David, Robin and Helen. Treasured Nanny Jill to James, Matthew and Fraser of whom she was immensely proud. Adoring and cherished Great-Nanny Jill to her four great-granddaughters, Scarlett, Ava, Grace and Faith. To her nephews and nieces she was Aunty Lily, much loved and an inspiration in her 95 years.

As a girl she was a Birmingham Schools swimming and diving champion. As a W.A.A.F. she served her country in WWII. For over 50 years she was
a passionate golfer, playing for her
club and her county.

A life complete, fulfilled and richly lived. Jill's family and friends will miss her deeply.

A celebration of her life will be held at
St. John's Church, Walmley on Friday 29th June at 12.45pm, followed by committal at Streetly Crematorium, West Chapel at 2.15pm.
Afterwards a reception will be held at Walmley Golf Club, Brooks Road, where everyone will be welcome. Please come and join us to say goodbye and reminisce. Please wear some colour to celebrate Jill's life.

Flowers from immediate family only please, but donations in Jill's memory would be very much appreciated for St. Giles Hospice.

Jill's family would like to thank her G.P.
Dr Anasuya Dasgupta from Manor Practice, St. Giles Community Nurse, Sue Donnelly and everyone at St. Giles Hospice for the exemplary care, kindness and compassion that Jill received during her illness.
