WilliamMASON(Ashington) Suddenly but peacefully at Chester Court Care Home on Thursday 14th March 2024 aged an incredible 106 years. Billy, beloved Husband of the late Jean. Cherished Dad of Lillian and the late David. Loving Granda of Angela and Granda in Law of Dickie and an adored Great Granda of Alex. Billy will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends. Would family and friends please meet for funeral service on Friday 19th April at 10:00am at St Aidan's RC Church, 14-18 Station Road, Ashington, NE63 8AD, followed by committal service at Cowpen Crematorium at 11:30am. All welcome afterwards for refreshments and a further celebration of Billy's life at Ashington Cricket Club, Langwell Crescent, Ashington NE63 8AB. Family flowers only, donations if desired can be made in aid of Cancer Research UK. Forever in our hearts.

Today you would have been 107 and I'll miss our chats and your stories about your life. A gifted and talented musician, he will be remembered by many people in the North East that frequented the dance halls and was well loved by all that knew him. So grateful that he was my Uncle. Thank you for the memories.
