I am so sad and sorry to find out Julian has passed. A lovely kind gentle man.
I always enjoyed our chats that were supposed to be about accounts but went on for hours just talking life, politics etc and enjoying each others company.
Wish I had made the call I always meant to do to just have another one of those chats.
Thinking of you Mandy of how hard it must be for you to lose such a wonderful soul mate.

Au revoir Jules, not goodbye. Hopefully we’ll meet again, probably not up there and hopefully not in the other place but somewhere in between. I’ll miss our Friday afternoons in Costa reminiscing about the good old days. The early ‘60s at Grange Street Infant School with Miss Kind, who was anything but! The winter of ‘63, snowmen galore, short trousers, chapped legs, Vaseline. The late 70s in The Dog in the town centre and walking home to my mum and dad‘s and carrying on drinking home-made beer with buttered toast. And those post marriage occasional dinner parties where the six of us pretended to be responsible adults. Happy Days.

I worked with Jules at Peach and Co. Such a lovely guy and I enjoyed my trips to Uptons with him. The banter between him and Steve (also sadly missed) always made me laugh. I’ve actually driven through Briz Valley today and thought of him. Such sad news and condolences to Mandy x

Thinking of Julian’s family at this sad time. A name I’ve not heard for many years but I remember from school what a lovely, kind person Julian was.
Rest in peace
