Dear Bronwen. I was so sorry to read of Peter's passing in todays Western Mail. During my very short stay in Maenclochog I was proud to call Peter a good friend and will always remember him for his kindness and our mutual interests. Sending you and your family my sincerest condolences. Regretfully I shall be unable to attend on Friday as I shall be away.

Kindest regards
Cyril Ridley (Pen Rhiw)

Dear Mrs Mathias, Ruth, Helen, Kevin, Ross, Ceri, Megan, Jac and Cadi, sending you all our love and best wishes at this very sad time. Mr Mathias was a very kind hearted gentleman whose love for you all was very clear to see. His love of sport and particularly cricket is so like our Huw to whom he gave a book about the rules of cricket. This book is still very much treasured by Huw. We're sorry we can't be with you but you are most certainly uppermost in our thoughts and prayers.
With love from Suzanne, Ian, Gareth and Huw xxx.
