BarbaraMAWDSLEYof Raven Park, passed away peacefully at Royal Blackburn Hospital on October 29, aged 91. The loving wife of the late Bryan, loving mum to Gail, the late Ian, mother-in-law to Diane. She was also a much loved gran to Bill, Josh, Robbie and Erica, and a loving sister of the late Sylvia, and loving aunt to Steve. Barbara lived a very happy and fulfilled life, and loved her family. St Thomas' Church meant a lot to her, and she was a member of the Mother's Union there. She also enjoyed socialising with her many friends at Raven Croft Community Room. She will be greatly missed. Barbara's funeral will be held at St Thomas' Musbury on Monday, November 17 at 1.15pm. Donations in her memory are welcomed for St Thomas Church Spire Fund. Such sad news. A wonderful friend to my Grandad Roy, who was there for him when he needed her after the loss of my Nanna. I have lovely memories of Barbara from being a child, but as an adult admire how much time she had for everyone. A true loss of a wonderful human being. 💔

Barbara, my Godmother and cousin, was a lovely person. She was very kind to my late mum whom she would regularly ring for a chat. RIP Barbara, we will miss you
