John WilliamMAXWELLOn Sunday 20th June 2021, peacefully in hospital, Bill aged 89 years. Beloved and loving Husband of the late Norma, loving Father of Wayne and Gail, dear Father-in-Law to Debbie and the late Nick, loving and devoted Grandfather of Sophie, Tom, Georgia, Matthew and Faye, proud Great-Grandfather of Robyn, Leo, Gabriel and Caleb and a dear Brother of Pat. Bill was a Justice of the Peace in Stockport and served as a Macclesfield County Councillor representing the Conservative Party, where he succeeded in defending local primary schools from the threat of closure. Bill will be missed greatly by all who knew him. The Funeral Service will take place at 10.00 a.m. on Tuesday, 20th July 2021 at Hazel Grove Baptist Church followed by a private Service of Committal. Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of MIND, the Scots Guards Association or the Life Guards Association.
