Arthur VerdunMAYVerdun With sadness Diane announces the death of her absolutely loved Father, Verdun, on 11th October 2017. Son of the late "Dolly" & Albert May, brother of the late Jackie and surviving siblings, Maureen, Brian, Tina, Gwynfor and Kathleen, Uncle to Johnathon, Angela, Paula, Jeffrey, Susan, Joanna and Christopher. Diane and the family, wish to express their sincere and heartfelt thanks to so many people for their friendship of Verdun throughout his life and for the sympathy extended to us at this time. We are particularly grateful to the staff at Llys Y Bryn Residental Care Home and Ceri Ward, Glangwili Hospital for the love and care shown to Verdun. All are welcome to attend the funeral at Holy Trinity Church, Felinfoel at 3.15pm on Monday 23rd October and afterwards at Calsonic Club. Donations in Verdun's memory will be collected for Llys Y Bryn Residents Amenity Fund (cheques payable to Carmarthenshire County Council) at the Wake or afterwards to Silcox Family Funeral Directors.
