WalterMAYESOn Tuesday 9th July 2019 Walter aged 93 years, of Accrington. Walter began work aged 14 years at Howard and Bulloughs Engineering Accrington, where he worked as a Moulder. His last employment was working for Finch Watson, Accrington. Walter enjoyed watching football and cricket, he liked reading novels and was a keen gardener. Walter was the loving husband of the late Joyce, he leaves his devoted son David and daughter-in-law Helen. He was also brother to the late Alice and Jos and son of the late Sarah Mayes.
