Ellen MayMCCARTHY('Elly') (of Campion Street) Passed away suddenly at home on 13th May 2025.

Aged 80 years.

Beloved Wife of the late Michael. Loving Mum to Kevin and Nana to Joseph.

A funeral service will be held at Markeaton Crematorium (Main Chapel) on Tuesday 10th June 2025 at 11am.

Flowers are welcome.

My lovely friend. I will miss your lovely smile, even when you were suffering from that terrible illness. The last few years have been hard and took their toll on you. Now time for you to rest. Reunited with Mick, Cath, Pops and the boys. My love to Kev and Jo.

Elly was a lovely vibrant lady who was loved by many, always ready for a chat and she will without doubt be missed by so many people. She left a lot of very happy memories for so many friends and family. With sincere condolences to her son Kevin grandson Joe and her family and many friends.

Such a beautiful lady inside and out. She was so kind to Billy when he and Kevin became friends when they were 11 years old.
So glad we went to her 80th birthday party
