MY self and my wife janet, and our children christopher, richard and neil, and brian's stepbrother billy, are greatly saddened at the passing of brian.
During his many visits to his original family home here in lisburn northern ireland, we had the pleasure of his company, and witnessed him helping the family in many aspects of daily life.
There was always a task that brian would try to resolve to make life much more bearable for his mother jessie, and stepfather bill.
In fact we still live in the family home, where i can recall brian lifting the floor boards to lay cables for wall lights which brian installed in a front parlour room for his mother. all this he would do on a short visit of a couple of day's or so.!!
Although his visits home became less frequent due to his health, he remained devoted to his mother..
and kept in touch with his brother pat, and his sisters, my mother maureen, isobel, delores, irene, roselene , and heaster..
Also later the cunningham family....
our thoughts and prayers are with joyce, and the larger family circle...
