David And NestaMCFARLANE(Durham). The family of the late Nesta and David McFarlane of Claypath, Durham City, would like to thank all relatives, friends neighbours and colleagues for the many expressions of sympathy received following the sad loss of their parents. Grateful thanks to those who attended the services and for the donations received in their memory. We would also like to acknowledge Rev. Steven Orange, Deacon Jane Middleton and all those who took part in the services for their kindness and help. We are also grateful to all the staff in the University Hospital of North Durham who cared for David and Nesta and supported their family with professionalism and humanity, the NHS at it's best. Our grateful thanks go to those at Elvet Methodist Church, the Royal County Hotel and Norman Alderson Funeral Services whose service and care for the family went above and beyond what we had expected and made a very difficult time easier to bear.
