Toby DuncanMCLEODMcLeod Toby Duncan 3 June 1961 - 27 July 2026 A renowned historian, passionate war-gamer and much loved lecturer, friend, and colleague. A proud father to Charles and the beloved partner of Jackie.

Toby touched the lives of so many through his knowledge, generosity, kindness and infectious enthusiasm. His passion inspired countless people, and his warmth and friendship will be deeply missed. Rest in peace, Toby. Your legacy will live on through the countless lives you enriched and the memories you leave behind.

His funeral service will take place at Bournemouth Crematorium, BH8 9HX on Friday 21st August at 2pm.

For over 15 years, Toby shared his passion for history by delivering two to three 10-lecture series annually on Foreign History for Sutton Coldfield u3a. When Covid-19 restrictions arose, he seamlessly transitioned to Zoom, continuing to teach online ever since.
