AlanMCPARTLANDAlan McPartland of Helmshore the Valley Tailor of Haslingden, passed away peacefully on the 17th December 2021 surrounded by his family. Alan was always a devoted family man who loved spending time with all of his children and grandchildren. Always one to stop and chat, Alan spent many happy hours putting the world to rights and watching Manchester United matches with his friends at the Sunny Bank Club in Helmshore. In keeping with Alan's wishes, we will celebrate his life rather than mourn his passing. There will be no funeral, but a party will be held at the Sunny Bank Club in Helmshore later in the year to allow us all to share memories of all of the happy times we spent with him. In Alan's memory, we are collecting donations for 'NHS Charities Together'. The family would like to thank the ICU unit at Blackburn Royal Infirmary who cared for Alan so perfectly. A 'Just Giving' page has been set up in his name and any contributions would be greatly appreciated.
