I feel flightless, stuck steadfast on the precipice of life. All around me I watch others rise up to chase brilliant white clouds racing across a blue sky or swoop low to skim turquoise waves dispersing on a blinding white beach. And as I watch the breakwater on each unceasing wave, the yearning continues, for I can't embrace you, and still I feel flightless.
