A wonderful family friend. Doris and Frank treasured their times together with Barbara and John. Those memories will last forever xxx

Barbara,
So many happy memories of time with you over 38 years ! we adopted you as a 2nd mum and you were instantly part of our family (also with John and Gran). So many Christmas, Easter and New-years eve parties at my mums - inc fancy dress and all kinds of laughter. & games You were a mum to me, loving in all respects and I cherish those memories of you. You adopted and loved on my children as a gran would her very own, and treated them with kindness, time and always many chocolates !! (see pic of you and John after the birth of our first child Hannah)
We saw you days before you passed, and you were lucid and we laughed and prayed together ! so good to catch up for that final time.
Safe in our heavenly fathers arms through Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. love Rob & Louise.

Barbara was a lovely and kind woman. My sister and I have fond memories playing in her home. Barbara had a small collection of china animals. Even though these items are delicate Barbara would let my sister and I play with them. She would also buy jaffa cakes just for us becuase she knew they were our favorites! She was a wonderful presence in our lives.

Love Hannah and Naomi

I also worked with Barbara when I was a young lad of 16 at Hanley Town Hall. A lovely lady for whome I had great respect.
