George WilliamMETCALFEGeorge passed away peacefully after a short illness in the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. His funeral will be held with close family in Patterdale, Cumbria. George was married to Shelagh, and they lived and worked in Devon from 1973. George was variously Head Forester at Arlington Court and Head Warden for the National Trust in North Devon. He also managed and showed Jacob Sheep and Shetland Ponies from Arlington. George is survived by his children Daniel and Sarah, and four grandchildren, Rebecca, Torin, Joanna and Yolanda.
