JohnMEYNELLMr John Meynell passed away on Thursday, April 7 at Royal Blackburn Hospital, aged 66. A ground worker in construction but was well known throughout the valley for doing a variety of jobs. In his early years he enjoyed fishing. He loved socialising, meeting up with many friends at the IDL Club and Trades in Haslingden. He spent many happy holidays with his family, and quiet times he would spend reading. He leaves behind his beloved wife Susan, children Sharon, Sarah and the late Vicky, and grandchildren Alisha, Abigail and Emily. Brother to Bill, George, Linda, Ann, the late David and the late Margaret. His funeral service will take place on Friday, April 29, at 1.40pm at Accrington Crematorium. Family flowers only with donations, if desired, to the British Heart Foundation c/o funeral director Caroline Holden-Dewhurst for Johnson, Durning & Woods, Haslingden.
