Suddenly at home on January 21st, aged 65 years, Michael (Mike), retired Captain Army Cadet Force, dearly loved husband of Ann, a much loved and respected dad of Maureen, Michael and David, a proud father-in-law of Stuart, a devoted and loving grandad of Rachel, Conor and Becky, also a dear brother-in-law to Cathy, and a dearest friend to Archie. Friends please meet for service at St. Mary's Church, Heworth on Thursday January 31st at 1.00pm, cremation to follow at Saltwell Crematorium at 2.00pm. No flowers by request, donations in lieu if desired to Guide Dogs for the Blind and Borneo Band A.C.F. for which a donation box will be available at the crematorium. All welcome afterwards to the Pelaw Social Club. Like a soldier he did his duty right to the end, a true friend and a gentleman.
